[Fp...]
I was having back pains and got a CT scan. Turns out I have two bilateral inguinal hernias. Im scheduling surgery in a few weeks. I told the doctor no benzos and no fluoroquinolone antibiotics. Is there anythin else I should be wary of, specifically any type of pain killers. I plan o Ice and ibuprofen but Im not sure if I will have to resort to something stronger. My gut tells me to tough it out. What about percocet? Can it cause setbacks? Thanks for any input. By the way, Im 53 years old and almost 12 months off ativan.
[Ch...]
I’ve had a couple of procedures that required brief use of opiate pain meds post surgery with no problems. The stress of surgery, especially if you’re anxious about it, might cause a minor return of some symptoms and I think that would be normal.
