3 years out and would love to chat with someone that has lived this experience.

I am 3 years out of a cold turkey withdrawal and protracted withdrawal for a good 3 months from  Xanax. First off, I want you to know that you will be just fine in time.  I would love to share with someone my experience and the horrific experiences that I had to see if it was just me or if it’s common to have these hellish experiences through this! Horrific inpatient hospital stay for 3 weeks that did not acknowledge this condition.  I was so alone and scared, and no help that this was normal and going to be ok.  Come home for 3 weeks and went back to a wonderful recovery place that understood and helped so much!  What a difference!!  They could not believe how the first hospital was.  Terrible!  I catch myself trying to figure it out and just re-live it, or ask why was it that bad.  Would love to discuss it with someone that has lived it too.
