Taper From Benzos and Kidney Issues?

I am in the process of tapering from .5mg of clonazapem after being on it for 6 years and I recently had to have emergency surgery to remove a kidney stone (I have only one kidney) and a stent temporarily placed. I've never had any issues with my kidney. This is also the second emergency surgery I've had since trying to taper from this medicine. In 2016 during a failed taper, I had to have emergency surgery because my cycle was causing me to bleed out excessively. All of these medical problems started only after I had been on this drug for an extended time. Has anyone else experienced issues with their kidneys or anything else that's led to surgery while tapering from benzos?
