FINALLY away from Ativan and feel hopeful I'm on the road to recovery

Hi all,

For the past three years I took Ativan - the most being 2mg daily (1mg twice daily). Up until two days ago, my current dose was .75mg twice daily and I would have crazy symptoms if I didn't take it - jaw/neck/back pain, headache, eye pressure and muscle spasms.

As of Oct 8th however, I have been taking Klonopin (1mg twice daily) and Cymbalta (30mg - once daily) instead and have been doing much better although I still get nose numbness and my nose seems to feel cold all the time, but NO ATIVAN since. I'm on day 2 and feeling very hopeful. Doctor told me I will stick with Klonopin for awhile and eventually taper off of it (which is supposedly and much easier taper). I'm feeling very hopefully for the first time in three years but lets see how it goes - so far so good!
