Miralax

Has anybody been prescribed miralax or polyethylene glycol for chronic constipation?

Will this be a problem with Xanax withdrawal, I jumped five months ago.

No!

I'd do a search and see what others had to say about it. Then make a decision.

We call it Osmolax..

Its been one of the best things for me.. Most others cause bad cramping for me..

(Other meds asides benzos in my history)

 

Only potential Issue I know of is some extended release tablets *may* Pass through the GI too fast.. 

 

Miralax should not cause you any issues with WD. It’s an osmotic and pulls water into your gut. I’ve taken it often and had no issues.

Miralax should only be taken if ABSOLUTEY Neccessary! If you had preexisting GI issues it only makes the anxiety worse about if "you'll make it to the toilet in time b4 crapping your pants!"

I had Microscopic Colitis prior to benzos and it mentally messes up your day and mind....Daily diarrhea up to 10 times a day with Colitis...
