.5 Klonopin. About to start tapering. help!

Hello I have been taking 1mg of Klonopin for ~18 years.  My Psych has me down to .5 MG of K now (1 month).  We are about to start tapering from there.  I have been reading the Ashton Manual,  I ordered a scale to cut pills if needed.  I am looking for some guidance as to how to proceed.  Any help would be much appreciated.  Im pretty scared but I am trying to do this as slow as possible in the hopes of minimizing loss of functionality.

I a about to begin the same and have also been taking them for about as many years.  Don’t know the percentage each taper should be though.  Getting compounding pharmacist to make capsules.
