33 months off Klonopin

I took 1.5 mg twice a day for over 20 years, with xanax and valium to take as I saw fit. Daily marijuana smoker and frequent alcohol abuser, too, during that time.

 

I feel like hell, and my life is hell. I'm desperate. Restless arms and legs. Almost total insomnia. Complete emotional blunting. Rage and anger. Cog fog. Anxiety. Awful depression.

 

But people who know say I'll one day feel better. It sure as hell doesn't seems realistic, though. This just seems like how I am after benzos. I hope I'm wrong.

I only ever managed to be completely off of clonazepam for one month. During that time I was given gabapentin which helped alot with all the nerve issues. I shortly relapsed though... Have  you tried activities or anything to help? I'm soon to be in your position hopefully. Planning another taper.
