Has anyone used this for insomnia while tapering benzo?

Do you mean doxepin? If so, I took a very similar drug, amitriptyline. It helped me get through some things but then I had to taper off and go through wd from it. This led to months of many nights of zero awareness of sleep but my brain had not been able to sleep without help for close to 30 years. I often wonder if I could have made it without taking amitriptyline 3 times a week so I'd at least get sleep on those nights. It may have been completely necessary with the extreme insomnia I had.
