I don't have it inside my brain but i have it all through my body when I'm in a wave. A few days ago my husband ran his hand down my arm and got a huge electric shock, said he could feel the electric running through me ,i could probably power up the house by it if i only knew how to harness it. One of my more horrible sxs.

When I  was tapering an SSRI and had brain zaps, Polar Power Salmon Oil helped. Or just the triglyceride form aka TG fish oil.

I have severe electricity’ in my head and scalp 24/7
Off benzo 41 months
Off remeron 20 months
Off projesterone cream 11 months
Not talking any medication except natural thyroid medication

I wish I would able to tell you it get better but I can’t.  But I feel now sometimes I can walk more or swim a little or go to yoga . Feels now it is helping a little.  Ice on my head can help but sometimes it’s making it worse.
I hope you find something what will help you. It is afoul pain.

Me too, only it's not only in brain, but allover me. It's not just annoying, it's very painful.

I don't vote for any cure by taking anything especially meds. Even some can provide temp relief, it will backfire on you for worse.

Cold water like swimming can help.

Low glutamate diet especially avoidingmsg and artificial sweeteners may help as well.

Yep...... often I say this feels like a billion neurons firing.  My answer is distractions (any way, shape or form).  Hot shower, bath are a form of that distraction.  [...]'s swimming is a great idea.
