Hello, I am weaning off of Ativan.

I was prescribed it to take .5mg twice daily, and was on it for two years. Knowing how addictive it is in nature I started early this year to reduce my dosage for the goal to get off of it.

I started at 60 tablets a month in Jan of this year, and now I'm down to 25.

I take .75 of a pill each day. This has recently gotten harder and have been looking for other's stories to learn from.

Glad you’re here for taper support, Sarajo. The top end of a benzodiazepine taper is a little easier than the lower end for most of us. How you taper the remaining amount can make a big difference in withdrawal symptoms.
