Burning sensation in head

Oh my God, yes!!

I was relieved to see your post (even as I’m so sorry you are hurting)!    I have had the same sensation early on, but it’s been voracious the last week for me (along with headaches).  Tylenol helps, but I don’t want to take it too much (more than 3 times a day).  I am pretty much miserable though.

My Dr wants to do an MRI, but I think it’s our brain healing. It feels like every nerve ending in my head is screaming.  What are you  doing for relief?

Yes, I can relate….I have a stinging electrical toxic feeling along with throbbing sensation in the brain with intense chemical anxiety. This is my worst symptoms.

Me too. I had a feeling like my brains are cooking inside. That with a pressure and occasional aches. I haven't had the feeling recently anymore. Warm wraps helped me the best for the pressure and the aches along with Tylenol. Take care as it should get better in time.

Can you tell me more about your warm wraps, what exactly did you do to ease the symptoms in your head. Also, how often did you take Tylenol? I’ve been taking it three or four times a day the last week because I’m in so much misery, do you think that’s OK?

I have insane burning brain and head pressure 24/7.  It is like the worst pain every single day. I need to know that this is likely to get better or go away. It is intolerable.

A hot shower helps me with a soft pulse from the shower (not full blast).  The heat helps my head...and Tylenol helps the headache part.  Distraction, truly.  Find something to do, to focus on...  Mine comes and goes, but it's scary to be sure.    Hang in there!  I'm here to talk if you need to!!

That is what I have been having all throughiut this wd. I describe it as similiar to what oop rocks feel like in your mouth, but only its on my head. It is very uncomfortable and pulsates with my heartbeat. It is almost always accompanied with anxiety. It waxes and wanes over the course of each day.  Ir seems to be a persistant symptom. I also get head pressure and headaches sometime: along with this.

Prayingxc. willl.just go.away soon.

Eliza,

We're almost about on the same timeline. This pulsating/throbbing in my head to the rhythm of my heartbeat has been a constant sxs for me too and it waxes and wanes relentless each and every day. I can't find this sxs to be so common. I get the headpressure too and at times the anxiety is worse than others.

Hope we find som relief soon!

I have this wheat grain filled massage pillow. I can heat it up in a microwave and place it on my forehead while lying down. It really helps me to take the tightness and the ache away when nothing else seems working. I guess hot moist towels could do the trick too. About Tylenol, I take 2 to 3 times a day, but not nearly every day. I guess 3 times a day is ok for some period of time. One week isn't too long.

I just read and made a comment on another post about what feels like burning head/brain.  Ive been having this uncomfortable head sensation. Pressure a weird type headache but it feels like what id describe as burning. It doesn't help relieve it buts it comforting to know I've not alone with this. Its the craziest thing ever. Thanks

Hope for everyones quick healing!

Brain burn was my most persistent symptom along with anxiety. It’s common.

Can i ask when did it go away for you?  ( burning brain)

I’m off benzo 39 months and off remeron 18 months. Came off hormones about 9 months and still have burning brain, anxiety.

Vica
