Planning my Ativan taper

Apologies if this post is too long.  I've been taking Ativan for 18 months.  Started out at 1 mg at night just to sleep (and for anxiety) then increased to an extra 0.5 mg in afternoon/evening for anxiety 12 months ago, then reduced afternoon/evening dose to 0.25 mg three months ago (since .5 mg in aft/eve gave me anxiety) but still taking 1 mg at night (in two 0.5 mg doses).  Second .5 mg dose often gives me anxiety, and so I stay up late.  In general have trouble sleeping (max 5-6 hours of sleep but possibly much less).  I also take Prozac (10 mg) and Gabapentin (100 mg 3/day  reduced from Gabapentin (200 mg 3/day).  Liquid Co-Q10 in morning and Vasotec (5 mg) have helped with blood pressure.

Current dose:  0.25 mg in evening,  1 mg at night but have trouble sleeping.  It was suggested to me by someone who had successfully withdrawn from another benzo that I first reduce the evening dose (10% every week possibly) and then reduce the night-time dose (10% every 2 weeks?).

Any suggestions on reduction order (e.g. which to lower first) and amount?  Increased trouble sleeping is causing a problem.

P.S. I have liquid formulated Ativan (mixed with Xylitol) from compound pharmacy and .5 mg pills (enough for 1 mg/day).  Sometimes (once a week at most) take CBD oil at night if Ativan gives me anxiety - this energizes me but reduces anxiety.  Also like to eat peanut butter sometimes (calming) at night if have anxiety from 2nd .5 mg dose at night.  In general, protein (from dinner) also helps in afternoon/evening.
