I think it is about time.  Good job Germany!  At least they have taken the time and money to look at this widespread problem.  The taper schedule they recommend is a little quick...but it recognizes how dangerous and widely prescribed benzos are. 

I thought it was interesting they mentioned some meds that help in withdrawal.  That flunazaril stuff... there is someone on this board who said it helped them, but can't recall who.

You are right, at least they are taking the time and effort to look at this stuff!!
