Short half-life benzos - how many doses per day?

Those of you direct tapering (DLMT) short half-life benzos, how many doses are you doing per day? I'm wondering if I should swich from 3 to 4 doses of oxazepam (shorter half-life than xanax). I have a feeling that I am experiencing intetdose wd.

I'm tapering oxazepam and started out with three doses of capsules and liquid, capsule at 9 a.m., liquid taper at 4 p.m., and capsule at 10 p.m. Then the plan went to two doses, liquid in the morning and a capsule at night which I am still on until August 22.  At that time, it will change to one dose, just liquid. 

 

I haven't been symptom free and some days are tougher than others, but I didn't expect to be symptom free, especially with a short half-life benzo.  I'm wondering when I go to just the liquid if I should stick with two doses instead of one.  I guess time will tell. 

 

It wouldn't hurt to try and see if 4 doses would make you feel better.

 

P.S.  I just looked at your signature and see you're cutting 3 mg every 10 days.  I'm going slower than that at 1.5 mg every 14 days. 

Switched from 3 to 4 equal doses per day yesterday. Hopeful that this will reduce interdose wd sxs!
