having insomnia since June

Called my psychiatrist , but he wouldn't see me until September 18, my next appt date, either him or his assistant, so he sent temazepam to the local pharmacy. Mom drove over to pick it up, I went with her, I'm legally blind. But I researched it and saw it's highly addictive, like heroin and only meant for short term, have heard some bad stories about benzo withdrawal. Got some support links from a mod a little while ago.
