[Ma...]
Seems clonazepam is the most carcinogenic benzo. Glad I switched to Librium now. Also, anti convulsant drugs like gabapentin have been associated with cancer risk. High doses of gabapentin caused pancreatic cancer in the rat study but it wasn't proven to cause it in humans statistically...but then it said that the risks of a bunch of different cancer's couldn't be 100% ruled out due to wide confidence intervals. In my opinion, all these drugs increase the risk of cancer and we should keep this in mind. https://kellybroganmd.com/pharma-putting-49-million-americans-risk-cancer/ https://www.madinamerica.com/2016/03/is-long-term-use-of-benzodiazepine-a-risk-for-cancer/ gabapentin cancer risk study: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3314779/
[Fo...]
I agree and hate the idea of a drug to which I am addicted causing such harm. Eg Seroquel and sudden death-)) However we live in a world of balance. We could avoid processed meats, ionising radiation, car fumes, the list is endless. Even depression caries a higher mortality and bereavement a 40% excess in males. But yes thanks for the link, will follow as mental health allows Dickie
