[Ba...]
Am writing to ask those who have said valium and klonopin feel quite different, to please explain. They also have said withdrawing from same feels different. I gather that Klon has more physical symptoms, valium more psychological ones? I'd sure like to hear from people as I have a choice, neither been too good for me but have to pick my poison, I guess to stabilize on and then go off. Ha-- unless I want to pick a third one, which probably not a useful idea...
[...]
In my experience, valium was unpleasantly sedating. Never a comfortable fit. I felt hypersomnolent, emotionally numb, disconnected from my emotions, and loss of impulse control around food and online purchases. In retrospect I’m appalled at how impaired my cognitive function was on valium. Still, far easier imo to withdrawal from valium than klonopin. Klonopin was a deceptively pleasant med, even as it ripped up my guts, heart and mind. For withdrawal purposes I’d choose valium over klonopin. [Ba...]
What if I just want to be functional? Don't think can ever get off.
[Ma...]
*shrug* I had the exact opposite thoughts about klonopin and valium from sila's. Valium gave me a nice relaxing buzz, and klonopin put me right to sleep.
