Quick question. Down to .5v. Bloating. Cramps. Constipaton.

After very long battle w withdrawL and taper I recently reduced from 1mg Valium to .5. I’ve had a sudden change in bowel movements.  Diarrhea.  ConstipAtoon. Bloating and cramping after eating etc

 

Can these be due to benzo withdrawal? Concerned it may be a medical issue and have gone to dr but now I think it could be physical withdrawal symtpms

 

Are these common? Only physical symptom I’ve had in the past is tinnitus

Absolutely.  Unfortunate symptom - try to be cognizant of your diet to help minimize but it's one of those fun side effects.  Congrats on being close!

Metamucil is excellent for bowel problems like what you are describing.

Definitely can be a withdrawal issue!  So happy you have only had one other (hope it will pass).
