Risperidone (Risperdal) taper withdrawal

Hello friends, I haven’t been on this incredible forum in some time. I have now found myself in a situation where I need to taper again. This time I’m tapering off of Risperidone (Risperdal). Before starting to taper (under my pschyiatrist’s instructions) I was waking up once a night confused and really scared. I would also occasionally wake up with really scary dying feelings when sleeping and feeling out of my body. Now that I’m tapering I’m getting the waking up dying feeling, panic feelings, air hunger, and waking up feeling out of my body. Do you all think those are withdrawal symptoms? And does anyone know if Risperidone withdrawal can be fatal (like benzo withdrawal)? Or is it just awful symptoms but no worry of it being fatal? Thank you all so much!
