Goodbye Ativan

God is so good to me. I am 19 days off of Ativan and 8 days off  Zoloft. 

My Ativan use spanned the course of five months most of which I was in interdose withdrawal.  My psychiatrist added 25 mg Zoloft and bio identical hormone therapy about halfway through that time.  I was fairly certain I was sick and dying and had so much medical testing done during this time. I somehow managed to taper off the Ativan over the course of 2 1/2 weeks and weaned from Zoloft in 1 week.  I am experiencing a lot of physical symptoms, but my mind is so much clearer.

I realize I am early in my recovery,  but I am here because the bio identical hormone therapy is still an issue for me.  I worry that it is hindering my recovery.  I am hoping to connect with individuals who have been in my similar situation so that I can see my way clear.

I am so grateful this site exists.
