I am reading this article and just got to the part where they say that psych meds are typically approved based on clinical trials that last LESS THAN 12 WEEKS. That means they approve drugs with NO IDEA about the long term effects!!

I believe the 12 weeks is the time ON the drugs that is studied, I am pretty sure they are only required to study withdrawal effects for 30 days. I didn't even get hit hard with symptoms until I was a couple of months off. As far as they are concerned, I would have been a success story.
