Alcohol causing sinus congestion

I've been off benzo's for quite a while now. Alcohol doesn't cause me a setback except for an annoying side effect; sinus congestion.

It doesn't matter what i drink, my sinuses always become congested. I think it's because alcohol increases histamine.

I drank just a little bit of whisky and my nose is already completely stuffed. Will have to use my corticosteroid nosespray and asthma inhaler tonight...

 

Anyone else having the same problem?

I do too. I think I am allergic to grains. Every time I drink a beer that happens. Not sure about other alcohol....maybe I will sail away with Captain Morgan a find out
