9 years recovered having problems again
« on: March 17, 2019, 04:41:11 pm »
I am 9 years recovered from Klonopin withdrawal.  I had the flu last week and it triggered a major panic at that has set my body off.  I havenít been able to any relief from the constant panic and anxiety that has taken over my body.  My nerves are completely on edge and I am physically a mess again.  Feels like withdrawal all over again but Iím not withdrawing from anything.  Iím am so exhausted by this. I just need some relief.  I am struggling with the temptation to contact my doctor for a sedative.  Thatís how bad it is.  Iíve been trying to push through for 5 days and nothing is helping.  I donít now how to get my brain/body back on track.  Iím almost nonfunctional at this point.  Is there anything I can take to settle my body down thatís not a benzodiazepine?

I suggest that before you take some kind of drug that you join the Protracted Withdrawal part of forum.  There you will find others who have had setbacks also.  You are not alone.
