Can the water titration tapering method be used with ambien cr?

Well, it probably could. An extended release pill can be cut and it renders it immediate release. But I'm not sure what crushing it would do. Can you discuss it with your doctor? Or better yet, your pharmacist. They are the real medication experts.

Is it possible for you to get an immediate release prescription?

Yes, I think I can get regular 10 mg ambien from my doctor.

If you do get the 10 mg Ambien, you could dry cut them as well, you have plenty of options!
