Does each substitiution during c/o cause wd sx?

Started my 4th week of c/o from ativan to valium last night.  Again, woke this morning with heightened anxiety and tension.  This seems to happen with every substitution each week for a couple of days, and then it levels off.  Has anyone else experienced this during a c/o per Ashton?  I still have three weeks left of further substitutions and am hoping it does not get worse as the doses of ativan get smaller. I would hate to have to convert back to ativan and also have to taper the valium I have been taking for 3-4 weeks.

Thanks to everyone who has responded to all my posts.  It is amazing how just a few understanding words, suggestions, and encouragement has helped me through this beginning journey.
