Crackling ear and airplanes

Hi all. I’m considering getting on a plane to stay with my parents while I recover. However, I’ve had sinus issues as a result of WD (it’s mostly gone away) and my ear is “crackling” like it gets slightly stopped up periodically.  This makes me nervous about flying ... any thoughts?? I’ve never had any sort of sinus or ear issue prior to benzo’s
