Risperidone for anxiety?

My doctor wrote me a prescription Risperidone to treat my anxiety. He tells me it has worked with another high anxiety patient of his. I am reluctant to take it. I haven't seen much info on it from BB, but a quick google search says "It can treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and irritability caused by autism..." I didn't see anything about anxiety.. I also read that it can be addictive.

Has anyone had any experience with Risperidone?
