[...] Posted February 17, 2019 Share Posted February 17, 2019 I have a skin condition eczema and I visited skin specialist. She gave me Xyzal (Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride) for anti allergy. I took one tablet and it gave me 9+ hours of sleep. I don't think its a benzo and she also confirmed it. Any one taking Xyzal during withdrawal. [Th...] Posted February 17, 2019 Share Posted February 17, 2019 The active ingredient in Xyzal is levocetirizine dihydrochloride and one of the "side effects" is making you sleepy. although insomnia was listed as a possible side effect too. It doesn't work on Gaba like a Benzo and is designed for shorter term use. 6-8 weeks from what I read.
