I'm very sensitive to all meds but I will never Forget the Remeron.

It won't hurt to try but if you have any bad side effects, stop it as soon as you can.

I was on it, no problems except tolerable dizziness. This was about two months into being on Remeron I was at work (Occupational Therapist) I was with an elderly resident. All of a sudden the dizzy turned into blackout and my heart fell into my stomach. I crawled to the facilities emergency pull string. Nurses came down and my BP was 180 0ver 95.

It slowly calmed down that day but then it kept happening throughout the weeks off and on. I didn't think it was the Remeron. So I saw my GP, which led to a cardiac specialist, EKG, stress tests, wearing a heart monitor for a week.

The Cardiac doc came in and said, It's the Remeron.

Now getting off Remeron? Horrible. I was out of work for two months had to take FMLA...

As I came off Remeron I was put on Geodon and a bunch of other crap. So when I started new meds I couldn't tell if I was still being affected by Remeron or if it was the new meds, but nothing worked.

BUT and it's a HUGE BUT,

Everyone reacts differently to meds. And I am super sensitive to Most SSRIs, SNRIs, Anti-psychotics, Tryciclics.

One thing thoughm I will never forget Remeron, EVER!

Remeron has been a game changer for me as I have tried alot of things and it was the only one that helped, if my head pressure/reaction to stimuli would go away I would be good.
