22 weeks off and feeling hopeful

twenty two weeks off valium after twenty seven years using still have symptoms but not as bad as when i jumped off CT hopefully i will keep healing will update later in the meantime happy christmas to all in BB forum

Hi dear . It so kind of you you come to give us hope . 

May I ask , why you decided to stop valium   Did you have problems while taking it

Its a big courage to decide to stop it after taking it for so long .

I was only one week on 5 mg of valium  and got a bit addicted . 2 months after ( while I was in mild withdral  not knowing it ) i did a ginecological procedure where they injected me a benzo . 2 days after I was thrown in hell , become delusional and all the symtoms you just know .

It lasted me 8 months

Good job for sticking it out this long. I'm down to 5mg of Valium and have tried to quit from that dose which was brutal, so stopping at 2.5mg was probably rough too. You're past the hardest part for sure. Now all you have to do is wait to heal more, and it's a good sign you've seen some already. Keep on hanging in there.
