Can you transition form klonopin to valium in a few days

Does the transition have to take weeks as in the Ashton manual? I think I could do it faster.

In was able to switch to from .5 mg Klonopin twice a day to 10 mg of Valium taken twice per day within a two day period.

 

I was having interdose withdrawal and tolerance withdrawal from .5m Klonopin taken twice a day.

I suddenly found myself in a situation where I would take a Klonopin and two hours later I started feeling anxious.  This was two days after I had my first anxiety attack in over two years.

 

You can look at my sig. I tried an overly rapid direct taper of my Klonopin but ended up choosing to do an Ashton crossover to Valium when I stalled out with severe WD sxs. I switched from 0.25 mg K to 10 mg valium (which is supposedly the equivalent of 0.5 mg). It’s been okay. Feels like a little bump up yet I feel like I can continue to taper down from the V.
