benzydamine ?

Has anyone ever used benzydamine mouthwash for the burning tongue/sore tongue symptom?  Did it help/hinder??  My tongue is causing so much distress for me i'm at my wits end but am so afraid of taking anything else that might make it worse...thanks for your insights.
