need help with 4mg daily xanax please

I currently take 4mgs of xanax (alprazolam) 4x daily so every 6 hours I take 1mg.

I would like to start a liquid taper, but am unsure as to how. I have watched videos, but I get a little confused.

Can I do it this way or is this incorrect?

1st dose take 1mg pill put in 300ml of solution draw out 1ml

2nd dose take 1mg pill put in 300ml of solution draw out 1ml

3rd dose take 1mg pill put in 300ml of solution draw out 1ml

4th dose take 1 mg pill put in 300ml of solution draw out 1ml

or should I be taking all 4 pills and putting them into 300ml and taking out 1ml?

I'm so confused. I'd really appreciate any advice. Thank you
