Can Klonopin orally disintegrating tablets be used for a Liquid Titration Taper?

My doctor prescribe me these pills since the half life is longer than Xanax for my taper. I would most likely want to do a liquid taper. Will these tablets work as they are supposed to be dissolve in the mouth in that swallowed?

Yes, they will work.  But a conventional tablet will work just well.

 

Don't confuse ODT with sublingual.  An ODT tablet dissolve in the saliva in your mouth but the active ingredient is still swallowed, going into the stomach with the saliva.  Its metabolized exactly the same as a conventional tablet.

 

So  the solubility of the benzo itself is the same, in either case.
