Kava kava

Does anyone have any experience using kava kava post withdrawal? I had my first and week long window and it was great last week. Was hit by a wave that started yesterday. I wanted to see if kava kava could provide some relief as this is discouraging when I got to feel better and lost it. Did kava help, hurt, or no difference ar all? Thank you in advance.

Just researched that Kava Kava reduces the uptake of Gaba.  So not good when you taper to lower doses and you have no gaba to help you.  I know, I used to take it and now suffering at 10 mg hold.

Probably not good that I've taken it during my taper (didn't know)...but for me I always found it massively helpful on the first day, with greatly diminishing returns on the following days. Not exactly a benzo feeling, but not far off either.

 

Didn't seem to notice any sort of withdrawal after i stopped using it (each time for 3-6 days). hope this helps, feel free to PM me if you have any questions
