Housebound due to symptoms other then agoraphobia

Before Benzos I was always out and about.  I live in a major city where there is always something exciting to do.

However, I’m finding that the overstimulation of going out is causing me to stay home.  When I do go out I’m Very aware that I’m not like everyone else.  They can walk around laughing and not give anything much of a thought.  Me, every move and every step is calculated.  Makes me want to stay home because it saddens me.  Makes me feel like a freak. 

 

Anyone else home bound?

I'm getting out now that I'm recovering since being off but yes, this was totally me.  I lived in an apartment in a big city and felt this way all the time.  It was for years when the medication was causing problems.  Eventually the apartment started to feel unsafe.  I was in a bed mostly the first month and a half post w/d and it's only been the past 3 weeks or so, I'm getting up and out.

Hate it.  Hope some day I can get back into life. 

Yes because of chronic fatigue, weakness and POTS. Otherwise I feel ok.
