There are plenty of syringes to choose from on Amazon. Without the needle. That's where I bought mine. Just type "syringe 1 ml no needle" into the search box. I just did and found dozens. Low price was about $8 for 12, I think.

I know this is all new and confusing . . . but hang in there.

Hope this helps.

Thxs  Katz, i don't live in the US so It can take time until I can get the syringe of  1ml... I appreciate the support!

Good luck, bonty!! I hope your local amazon comes through for you.

So I  found 1ml Syringe  in a vet. Clinc.  They are tiny but have  0.1 graduation  :)...  Hope it all works well in the kitchen lab. I'm wondering if people use a magnifying glass?

I wanted to  ask you  about  when I  hold and taper  again  do I have to  recalculate the % from the lower dose  or just keep going  as I was...

Thank you

When doing  a daily taper you will not get slammed with sxs, as you do with a C&H taper.  Sxs, if any, will emerge gradually, and you can make necessary corrections.  So the general advice is the maintain the same taper rate unless you become symptomatic.

If you did a hold because you were symptomatic, then you probably were tapering too fast, and you should restart at a slower rate.

Got it, I had some sxs not to bad and held for a week and then  continued as I was then didn't have any sxs almost but im holding for a few days... I'm wondering when I go lower  and do the same solution each time I will have more of it ,should I just through it out and do a new batch?

Also if I  reduce 6% every 15 day  wouldn't that be 12% a month?

I understand, I had just a few sxs and I was told to hold a few days anyway as I'm doing the same solution  the % comes out the same 0.03  so it really doesn't matter I hope...

hi Katz,  I  have a question  about  tapering  if I would  taper  10% every 2weeks  that would  be 20% per month  that's to much,  I'm micro tapering...  I'm confused  the good  thing  is I  started  with 6%

Appreciate your  input  thxs!

Hi I have reached 0.4 from 0.5 how do I  adjust my taper to 5%  every 15 days

I did the maths and  it comes out to 0.001333  which i can't do with the 1ml syringe, please help

Round down to .001, or up to .002

or...

Dilute to .01mg per ml, then it becomes .013ml

I guess its  .01  because .013  is not possible  correct?

If you do a .1mg per ml solution then .013mg = .13ml

If you do a .01mg per ml solution, then .013mg = 1.3 ml

this is the  one you did  for me  .1mg per ml solution then .013mg = .13ml

so what type of  syringe do I need?

A 1ml syringe will measure .01ml, so the 13th mark is .13 (13/1 hundredths) ml.

If your syringe has 100 divisions, .13 will be the 13th mark from the inlet.

If your syringe has 50 divisions, .13 will be between the 12th and 14th mark.

If you go by your neighborhood pharmacy, I'm sure they would teach you how to read a syringe.

Thank you Bella but the confusion is I was reducing by .003 then .002 .... so I don't understand  how  now 5% is  .013?

I just want to microtaper  5% of my current dose  which is  0.40...

below is the chart:

.5mg X 10% = .05mg

.05mg/15 days = .0033mg ( round down to .003mgs/day)

Since your liquid will be .1mg per ml, your daily schedule will be:

.5mg          5ml

.497mg      4.97ml

.494mg      4.94ml

.491mg      4.91ml

etc.....

A 1ml syringe will measure .01ml, so the 13th mark is .13 (13/1 hundredths) ml.

This is the solution I have meaning I was reducing .003  so how  is  .13  5%?

I want to micro taper 5% of 0.40

the solution is below:

.05mg/15 days = .0033mg ( round down to .003mgs/day)

Since your liquid will be .1mg per ml, your daily schedule will be:

.5mg          5ml

.497mg      4.97ml

.494mg      4.94ml

Yes, 10% you are correct

.5mg X 10% = .05mg

.05mg/15 days = .0033mg ( round down to .003mgs/day)

5mg x 5% = .025mg

.025mg/15days=.0015mg

I do not know how the figure of .13mg came to be  ??? I was just following the figures given in the previous post(s) in order to answer your question on how to read the syringe and provide you with a resource for obtaining the syringe. Sorry for the confusion...

from your previous post "This is the solution I have meaning I was reducing .003  so how  is  .13  5%?

Where does the .13, or .001333 come from?.  It is NOT a value in the schedule I gave you.
