WHERE did my sense of smell go? Am I accentually cold turkeying?

Did anyone lose their sense of smell?  I took occasional Temazepam with my occasional .5 Xanax.....I reinstated my Xanax because I had withdrawal symptoms because I didn't know I was dependent....but haven't taken another Temazepam......could me losing my sense of smell be because I'm not taking the Temazepam right now? I only ever took it like 1-2 a week, maybe....

Please let me know, I need my sense of smell!!

Was your sense of smell heightened when you were on temazepam?  I only ask because my sense of smell dulled once I came off of klonopin.  However, I didn't realize that klonopin had actually been causing me to be overly sensitive to smells.  (I would constantly get sick if someone had on perfume - it would set off a migraine).  Since I came off of klonopin, my sense of smell is much less, but I find it a good thing.  (it didn't go away completely though.  And about 5 months ago the sensitivity did kick back up a little bit.
