[de...]
Hello - I have been taking Alprazolam every night for about three years now. I have gotten myself down to .5mg a night, when the peak I was taking about 3mg a night. I am having trouble letting go of the last .5mg, and I would like some support and advice in doing so. I live in CO and have recently gotten a medical marijuana card, as strong indicas have helped me taper down. I wanted to speak to others that may have had the same help. I am determined to be 100% off the benzos by the end of the year.

Leslie The Ashton Manual is an authoritative resource on what to expect during withdrawal and recovery. It provides information that can be very reassuring during any stage of this process, including a list of common symptoms with helpful explanations. For those who are currently tapering, a starting guideline is that the dosage not be reduced faster than by 5-10% every 10-14 days, although some taper even more slowly than that. One exception: very short-term users of a few weeks or less may be able to taper somewhat faster.
