Stopping Gabapentin

I could use some advice on how to taper gabapentin, I've been on it 6+ weeks at 300mg x 2 daily. I am seeing my phsyciatrist tomorrow and we all know how competent they are when it comes to tapering. I cant handle another withdrawal on top of the one I'm already dealing with. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
