Dumb question

Hi benzobuddies  :D

I have a doubt that may be absurd but I must do it.

when taking a dose with the syringe there is a part that is not numbered at the end (where the needle would be put), that part is not considered when taking the dose that is needed ... so what happens with that ... is despised?

Thank you !

A syringe works on a principle called displacement.  What that means is any space you create by retracting the plunger will be displaced with fluid.

If you submerge the tip in liquid and retract the plunger, the amount of liquid that is drawn up will be exactly the amount shown on the barrel where the bottom of the plunger is.

Bur you need to be sure to take all of the liquid that has been drawn into the syringe.  That usually required "pumping" the plunger several times to be sure it has emptied.  Its also a good practice to fill and discharge with plain water to rinse and drink the rinse,
