Tetanus Shot???

Has anyone had a tetanus shot during WD/recovery? I am overdue for one, but scared to get it because I don't want to make my insomnia worse...

Hold off and if you get dirt in an open would just grab a shot... you need them every 10 years... sometimes they last longer

Yes I am holding off... didn't know the thing about getting dirt in a wound... thanks for the heads up on that

Yes I agree hold off until recovery.

 

The chances are it will give you setbacks.

 

I only know this as I have been on the forums for years.

 

If you get a cut then clean the wound and see your doc

Well, I had to have the TDAP last week for school requirements for the Medical Assistant Program. I am required to have all my shots up to date. Luckily I did, except for this one that expired. I had no reaction whatsoever; then again, I am almost eight moths off. I feel almost healed, but I am still struggling with some GI issues (not benzo related)
