Will I ever get my brain back?

I feel like I’ve lost my personality. Is this feeling temporary? Will my brain ever get back to the way it was before all of the benzos?

It takes time.  Just keep on accepting the changes as they come along it is not Linear and we are all different.

 

This is my greatest fear. I’m almost a year off and really have no personality, my brain doesn’t work, I can’t remember anything. I find it too hard most of the time to even have a conversation, sigh I used to be talkative. I cling to the hope that we’ll be ourselves again
