[nc...]
Hello, I am practicing water titration to taper off 1 mg. (2 x .5 daily) of Lorazepam, using baby aspirins. After the solution has been through my mini-blender, there is a lot of foam. How would I cope with this to get an accurate reduction in dosage? Does a Lorazepam/water solution also foam a lot while in the blender? Thanks very much for any help. Nick
[so...]
nchris , why do you feel you need to use a blender. Most here just crush the pill or pills between 2 spoons , or in mortar, and put the crushed amount into a measured amount of water or whole milk. the powder does not dissoulve, only suspends itself , so a good stirring is good enough to get a equal mixture in your medium. st
[Co...]
Hi Nick, Just grind up your pill into a fine powder and add to the water/milk or whatever liquid you are using to suspend your benzo. It is better to aggiate the liquid rather than stir vigorously, and as a strong vortex might lead to an uneven distribution. Take you dose after a good shake of the liquid is what I would advise.
