Taper plan a disaster please help???

Hi guys I need your help please ASAP...

 

My taper plan is a disaster as been from the get go...

I was getting figures from SA,but to taper off 4.2 mg of Calum would take me 7 years..at 2% a month.

My dosing is 2mg am

1mg afternoon

& the weight of crushing a pill is 0.103

They were taking 2% off the whole dose & I was reducing from the nighttime dose...

 

Am some where near the 4mg mark but they were doing it by milligram per weight..

 

Am lost confused & heading for a break down with no idea what am doing...

 

Would I be ok to just take 2mg am

&

2mg night time???

 

Would it give me WD if I miss out the afternoon dose???

 

What a nightmare this is...

 

Could somebody help me out.I can’t work anything out as my brain as been wiped out from the other 2 CTs

Wish I could help, but I've never taken a long-acting benzodiazepine.  Hang in there, someone will pop in soon and help you out.

Jim Hawk has a good program to calculate daily microcuts, amongst others..he is on here. Valium is also making me its bitch. Have about 2.5 mg to go since June last year, starting at 15 mg. As valium has a long half life, once a day dosing, as I am doing should be ok. I take mine at night to sleep. But we are all different. I was also wondering about splitting my dose and cannot use liquid valium
