Should I go back to twice a day dosing at such a low MG?

I have been dosing once a day for over a year, but I am currently down to 2.3 MG and am struggling to get through the day, I keep wanting to take my dose earlier and earlier. Should I go back to dosing twice a day 1mg and 1mg or is that taking a step backwards? I’m confused I’m struggling right now I don’t know if I should just hold for awhile or what. Just curious if anyone has gone back to twice a day dosing and did ok...thanks!
