[Rx...]
Been using Nauzene, an over-the-counter remedy for nausea. Did not want to, but provides some relief. Problem is that I've been feeling much more irritable lately. Did not take any today and do not feel cranky. Wondering if FD&C Red No. 40 dye in Nauzene may be culprit. I've read various articles about it affecting kids' behavior and mood. Any input or further knowledge appreciated. http://www.feingold.org/Research/effects.html

[Rx...]
Thanks for commenting, shania. Stopped using Nauzene quite awhile back. I'm wondering if it actually may have worsened my nausea. Like a short term fix, but long term disaster sort of thing. Yes, I believe Red No. 40 dye is bad stuff myself. Even before withdrawal, I noticed crankiness after ingesting anything with it. I find pure lemon (lots) in peppermint tea to be a better fix personally at this stage for me, albeit my nausea is quite rare these days (in a window). [Rx...]
P.S. And yes, they put it in food too, especially junk food like candy and sugary drinks.
