Dr. Schumann is to be congratulated for his clarity and the courage to avoid popular memes that have the effect of obfuscating the seriousness of the problem.  He tells us the unvarnished truth of the matter as follows:  "The problem with benzos, as they're also known, is that they're highly addictive medications, both physically and psychologically."  An excellent piece.  Thank you for posting !!
