Since withdrawal I feel brain damaged but I have also lost internal sensation including any ability to feel full or any feelings from my guts at all.

Wow, I hope they figure out something soon! Thank you very much for this information. I've never had so many problems with my gut as I have in benzo withdrawa/recovery, more so since I have to take pills!

Same here and it started in tolerance however the Dr just called it IBS, yet as time goes it is gradually resetting itself

Mine started in tolerance, after tons of tests and money, I was basically told same thing.  Gave gastro by hand a list of meds I was taking, xanax at top, sat there while he read them and he said nothing on that list could be causing it so now, in the middle of my titration to get off this crap, I am in a lot of benzo belly pain.  These dr's know nothing about benzo's. Sometimes I don't know whether to hate them or just cry

Mine is coming right now after being totally off Benzos, as they were the only drug I was taking  should have realised 

However it is settling down well now which is such a relief.

actually it took some time and the longer Im off the better it gets,

I would say Im almost back to normal.
