Would this be considered a rapid withdrawal?

I was on 1mg once daily of klonopin for 7 weeks and my dr made a a taper plan:

.75 mg once daily for 2 weeks

.50 mg daily for 2 weeks

.25 mg daily for 2 weeks

Drop

 

Yes I think that is pretty fast. I cut my

Klonopin to .125 and then .06 and I feel WD. How are you doing?

Well it really depends on how you feel.  7 weeks is certainly long enough to develop dependence, but there's a chance it won't be bad at all.  It's a catch-22.. you want to get off as quickly as possible, but you have to be safe.  Are you experiencing tolerance withdrawal?  How functional do you have to be over the next month?  I wouldn't be too worried about seizures with that dose and duration so it all comes down to how uncomfortable you want to be and for how long.
